Fertigungstechnik Weißenfels (FTW) designs, manufactures and distributes NC-controlled rotary tables for the machine tool industry. The company occupies 90 employees at its Weißenfels plant near Leipzig. Among FTW’s customers are the major machine tool manufacturers; their machines for complex 3D-machining are equipped with components from FTW. Being an engineering partner for its customers FTW provides comprehensive solutions that can be flexibly integrated in the control and machining concept of its customers’ equipment.

Fertigungstechnik Weißenfels GmbH was acquired in February 2010 from the Römheld Group, Laubach. With this transaction the Römheld group intends to strengthen the focus on its core business.
